Story
Hello! I am thrilled to share a bit about my journey into the world of education—a path that unfolded in the most surprising and rewarding manner. Initially, teaching was not on my radar, but life, guided by Yahuah, has a marvelous way of steering us toward our true callings.
The Unexpected Beginning
During my high school years, I frequently tutored friends and fellow students in Spanish. I shared my enthusiasm for the language and helped them enhance their skills. This informal teaching experience unknowingly laid the foundation for my future in education. My teaching journey truly began when I started homeschooling my siblings during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world faced upheaval, I embraced the challenge of guiding their education from home. At first, I was hesitant, aware of the potential difficulties teaching might entail. Yet, as the days turned into weeks, Yahuah's guidance became apparent, and I found myself drawn to the learning and teaching process.
Discovering the Joy of Teaching
What started as a necessity blossomed into a profound passion. Witnessing my siblings grasp new concepts and experiencing the joy of their achievements was incredibly fulfilling. This newfound love for teaching inspired me to explore further opportunities in education, all while feeling Yahuah's presence guiding me along the way.
Embracing Spanish Education
I soon found myself teaching Spanish and English to middle school students at a private school. This role allowed me to blend my love for the Spanish language with my educational pursuits. It was here that I realized the joy I derive from sharing my Mexican culture with others—a passion that has become a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. I view this as a blessing from Yahuah, who has shown me the path I was meant to follow.
A Mission to Share Culture and Language
Driven by a desire to enrich others with the beauty of the Spanish language and Mexican culture, I embarked on a mission to teach these subjects to anyone interested. I believe in the power of immersive learning—going beyond textbooks and writing to encourage conversations and cultural exchange. My goal is to create an environment where students can truly experience and appreciate the nuances of the language and culture, honoring Yahuah through this work.
Proficiency & Beyond
While my main focus is on sharing Spanish and Mexican culture, I am also proficient in STEM subjects and all core and elective areas. This diverse background allows me to offer a well-rounded educational experience, each lesson a tribute to the gifts Yahuah has bestowed upon me.
In essence, my journey into teaching has been one of unexpected delight and fulfillment. It has become my mission to inspire and empower others through language, culture, and education, making learning an enriching and immersive experience. I am grateful to Yahuah for guiding me to discover my passion and for allowing me to honor Him through teaching.
